The Word of the Day is 'Ridiculous'

Texas is great and all. The sky is pretty damn amazing, if you ask me. But I would not live there, no thanks, even if it has In-N-Outs (aka the closest In-N-Outs to the east coast at the present). Too much wind, kinda too hot, and it's just so flat.  Then again, Texas is a pretty big place and I was only in a small section of it.

Highlights of the trip:
-Fed a couple of adorable donkeys
-Got jostled by a hungry cow
-Consumed ridiculous amounts of ice cream
-Shot a pretty sick gun
-Handbrake'd a few movies. Stoked.

Watched Jennifer's Body (2009), aka hey look it's Megan Fox! Honestly I knew it was going to be ridiculous, and guess what? I was right. This movie is pretty darn silly. There were so many plot holes that didn't get resolved until nearly the end of the film, which was rather annoying, and even then the resolutions were pretty rushed. Also felt a touch deus-ex-machina. And they gave Megan Fox some pretty ridiculous one-liners. I would say, think Regina George from Mean Girls except black hair, way hotter, and evil (no, really, like legit demonically-spawn-of-hell evil). At least I can now associate Amanda Seyfried with another character other than the air-headed Karen from Mean Girls.

And then Kick-Ass (2010). Pretty good movie, but there were some moments that seemed a bit far fetched. The synopsis is basically one kid sets out to be a super hero in a realistic world. Then, they start introducing other characters and a plot with conflicts that's beginning to feel like an actual super hero story/movie, which is a bit jarring. Otherwise, it's a really cool film that is worth a watch.

Look at this girl's hair. It's wild. It's crazy. I kinda want it. Oh well.

And then Insanity Wolf here actually kinda makes sense, shockingly enough.

Scott Pilgrim anyone?
